Information / Review: On this blistering EP, AMS welcomes DJ Resist for Switched On's first take on the bouncy sounds that are so popular with DJ Sy, pogoing ravers and Kangaroos alike with the energetic A-side 'Thrust'. Starting off with a skippy vocal intro, the track leads into a lush and melodic piano breakdown before the huge trance lead takes over to guide you into euphoric heaven. 'Thrust' definitely captures the bouncy vibe that is proving so popular whilst still giving its own unique uplifting slant. As if this wasn't enough, it also manages to throw in some monster head-twisting synth riffs to keep your body rockin. Featured on Kevin Energy's mix of the recent Hardcore Heaven CD, 'Hard Bass' is an absolute belter of a track from start to finish. Leading in with a dark, edgy and pacey beginning, it really takes off at the main breakdown where hoovers are the dish of the day. As the title would suggest 'Hard Bass' really doesn't disappoint in this department and will have the most reluctant of ravers stomping and sweating on the dancefloor.
