Information / Review: A track that is laced with twisted energy but still soars with uplifting synths, 'The Darkness' is arguably Haze's most proficient outing to date and, for fans of uplifting freeform, is bound to strike a serious chord. Rising out of the eerie warping breakdown, the main melody flies into action to inject pace, power and energy into 'The Darkness' while cleverly used pianos add a crossover feel to this slammin freeform number. Innovative, uplifting and devastatingly effective, 'The Darkness' is bound to have you stomping away like marching soldiers on meths. On the flip we're treated to the energised 'Rock This' by The Acolyte. Having conjoured the majestic 'Lost Without You' on Executive, The Acolyte steps up to Relentless and delivers a track of intense melodies, classic German trance styled riff work and seriously piercing acid lines. Twisted hoovers and the cut-up 'Rock This' rap samples add a bit of extra bounce.
